Job summary

Minth North America, Inc. is expanding its team with a Launch Project Manager to drive new product introductions and mass production ramp-ups for automotive components in North America.

The role acts as the primary liaison between the factory and key clients, leading APQP activities, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring on-time delivery and quality targets. Candidates should have a mechanical engineering background, 7+ years in automotive project management, experience with OEMs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Materials, or related field).
• 7+ years in automotive components industry with at least 5 years in full-cycle automotive project management (NPI and mass production).
• Experience interfacing with North American OEMs (GM, Ford, Stellantis, Tesla, Toyota).
• Experience with China HQ/Asia-Pacific teams and overseas plant support preferred.
• Familiarity with stamping, injection molding, painting, plating, or aluminum processing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the factory and its key clients throughout development and production.
• Lead APQP activities and ensure deliverables (FMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, PPAP) are completed on time.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across global teams (China R&D, US factory) for manufacturability and cost optimization.
• Identify and mitigate technical, supply chain, and scheduling risks during development.
• Oversee PPAP submission and production start-up, aiming for IQ targets and stable mass production.
