Job summary

Interface, Inc. is seeking a Collections Specialist to handle accounts receivable collections, notify customers of delinquent accounts, and follow up on past due invoices. You will prepare statements, process refunds, and support the Credit Analyst while maintaining accurate account records.

Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years of collection experience is preferred. Proficiency with Excel and JDE Enterprise One is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of credit or collection experience or college degree.
• Strong analytical skills and professional phone etiquette.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with JDE Enterprise One preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to enter and review data on multiple websites.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers with open receivables for payment.
• Continuously follow up on past due invoices until paid.
• Research unapplied cash and credit memos to determine refunds or application.
• Coordinate with Administrative and Quality Claims for balances.
• Maintain and reconcile customer accounts; work closely with the Credit Analyst.
• Process refunds and vendor requests related to customer balances.
• Send invoices and statements; pull daily payment details from bank.
