Job summary

Databricks Inc. seeks an experienced Accounting Manager, Accounts Receivable, to own end-to-end AR close, AFDA/CECL modeling, and AR reporting across a global multi-entity environment. You will lead subledger integrity, drive AI-enabled automation, and partner with OTC, Revenue, and Transformation teams to scale processes in a fast-growing organization.

The role requires strong U.S. GAAP judgment, CPA preferred, and hands-on ERP experience (SAP/NetSuite).

Qualifications

• 6+ years of AR and GL accounting experience in a mid-to-large organization.
• CPA strongly preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong U.S. GAAP judgment for receivables, revenue alignment, accruals.
• Independent, reviewer-ready workpapers within a preparer/reviewer/approver framework.
• ERP experience (SAP, NetSuite or similar) with data validation across subledger and GL.

Responsibilities

• Own Global AR Month-End Close and end-to-end subledger-to-GL reconciliations.
• Model AFDA and CECL; assess assumptions and provide monthly provisions.
• Lead AI and automation initiatives across AR workflows using Databricks and analytics.
• Maintain AR subledger integrity, flux analyses, and variance explanations.
• Drive audit readiness; respond to auditors and maintain SOX controls.
• Collaborate with Billing, Cash Applications, Revenue, and FP&A to validate subledger accuracy.
• Support SAP implementation and transformation projects to standardize AR processes.
