Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Accounting Manager, Accounts Receivable, to own end-to-end AR accounting across global balances and multiple entities. The role combines technical GAAP rigor with cross-functional scalability in a fast-growing, AI-enabled environment.

You will manage month-end close, AFDA/CECL modeling, and collaborate with OTC, Revenue, and FP&A teams to drive accurate reporting, audit readiness, and process automation using SAP/NetSuite and Databricks.

Qualifications

• 6+ years AR/GL accounting experience.
• Experience with AFDA/CECL and reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare reviewer-ready workpapers.
• Experience in high-growth tech/SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Own Global AR month-end close and subledger-to-GL reconciliations.
• Model AFDA and CECL, prepare monthly provisions.
• Lead AI/automation initiatives across AR workflows.
• Maintain AR subledger integrity and provide insights.
• Support SOX controls and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Billing, Cash Applications, Revenue, FP&A.
