Job summary

Databricks seeks an Accounting Data & Technology Manager to architect and redesign our accounting processes. You will own SAP S/4HANA governance, build automation atop the Databricks platform, and connect SAP data to the Finance Datalake for global reporting and AI use cases.

Post go-live, you will lead continuous improvement, automate close processes, and ensure data quality across the ERP landscape while partnering with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and IT to scale finance operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting systems/ERP experience with hands-on SAP S/4HANA FICO
• Experience leading full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation on business/functional side
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and impact of ERP config on financial reporting
• Experience with data governance, chart of accounts design, and master data management
• SOX controls, access management, and segregation of duties within SAP

Responsibilities

• Act as SAP S/4HANA governance expert during implementation
• Identify SAP native capabilities to replace manual workarounds
• Own requirements, testing, and sign-off for configuration across G/L, AP, AR, FA, and close
• Design data flows from SAP to Databricks platform and Finance Datalake
• Drive continuous improvement and automation post go-live
