Job summary

Emerson Electric Corporation seeks an Application Engineering Manager to lead the global applications engineering team, enabling business development and sales through technical solutions for Test & Measurement products.

You will recruit and mentor engineers, collaborate across Marketing, Sales and R&D, and travel up to 25% to engage customers and drive growth with execution excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in Engineering.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%, both domestic and international.
• General test and measurement knowledge.
• Only U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 22 CFR §120) may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, Developing, and Mentoring talent, including development engineers and applications engineers with unique expertise spanning multiple industries and geographies.
• Build and maintain the team’s overall expertise in Emerson Test & Measurement equipment and their applications.
• Collaborate with Business Managers, Marketing, Sales & R&D to align the team's execution to growth strategy and short-term business needs.
• Engage with sales to drive customer engagements, through mutual understanding and prioritization of efforts, to achieve shared business goals.
• Manage ambiguity and drive change management as business strategy evolves.
• Drive engineering execution excellence.
• Handle special projects or tasks assigned by management.
