Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join the Software Engineering team and embed automated testing across the SDLC. You will build scalable test frameworks and drive quality, performance, and security testing to deliver reliable payment solutions.

Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to shape testing strategies and improve release confidence. You will work with Java, Selenium, and modern CI tools, applying TDD/BDD practices and enhancing regression

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant professional experience in software testing and development.
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems or another technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong experience designing and developing automated testing frameworks and test suites (unit, API, functional, regression, performance and security).

Responsibilities

Drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle by embedding automated testing and quality practices.
Build and evolve scalable test automation frameworks to increase coverage and CI/CD speed.
Shape performance, security and resilience testing strategies to identify risks before production.
Influence testing standards using TDD/BDD and automation to improve maintainability.
Partner with developers and stakeholders to prioritize risk and deliver quality solutions.
