Job summary

Vaco is seeking an AP Manager, Global Shared Services in Alpharetta, GA. This on-site to hybrid role leads global AP/P2P operations, drives process optimization, and supports a SAP S/4HANA implementation across geographies.

You will manage AP teams, establish KPIs and SLAs, ensure SOX controls, and partner with Finance, Procurement, and business leaders to improve working capital and automation. A Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 10+ years in AP/P2P are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. (Required)
• 10+ years of progressive AP, P2P, Procurement Operations, or Financial Operations experience. (Required)
• 5+ years leading teams (5+ employees), preferably in a Global Business Services (GBS) or Shared Services environment. (Required)
• Strong understanding of cash flow, working capital, balance sheet management, and financial controls. (Required)
• Stable job history and career progression (Required)
• Must be local to Atlanta - Alpharetta (on-site 3-4x per week) (Required)

Responsibilities

• Lead global AP operations, including invoice processing, payments, reconciliations, and supplier support.
• Serve as the AP/P2P process owner
• Drive process standardization, automation, and touchless processing initiatives.
• Improve working capital and cash flow through payment optimization and discount capture programs.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, SLAs, and process documentation.
• Ensure SOX compliance, audit readiness, and strong internal controls.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, and business leaders on process improvements and issue resolution.
• Lead, develop, and mentor global shared services teams while fostering a continuous improvement culture.
