Job summary

Greene Tweed Company seeks an accomplished Accounts Payable leader to direct a 4-person AP team and oversee global AP/T&E processes. You will drive P2P improvements, system upgrades, and vendor onboarding standardization while partnering with international teams to ensure timely payments and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive corporate AP experience, with at least 3 years leading complex system upgrades or global transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience managing direct reports while collaborating with dotted-line international teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field is required.
• Outstanding emotional intelligence, exceptional patience with cross-functional stakeholders, and an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a dedicated team of AP professionals.
• Provide guidance and operational leadership to international accounting groups via dotted-line reporting relationships.
• Oversee full-cycle AP workflows for the US, Europe, and Asia, including global T&E management with SAP Concur.
• Partner with Lean Six Sigma Black Belts on Procure-to-Pay improvements to map workflows and remove bottlenecks.
• Drive business requirements and user testing for a global AP invoice system upgrade.
• Streamline and globalize end-to-end vendor onboarding, master data management, and invoice processing operations.
• Prepare and present AP performance packages and cash outflow forecasts to the ELT.
• Drive global strategies to optimize cash outflows and DPO metrics.
• Enforce global “No PO, No Pay” compliance policies.
• Collaborate with Procurement to resolve invoice-to-PO discrepancies and enable 3-way matching.
• Foster collaborative relationships with all corporate functions for payment inquiries.
