Job summary

WOONGJIN, Inc is seeking a Logistics Coordinator (Air & Ocean Operations) to plan, execute, and optimize inbound and outbound air and ocean freight for a global mobile device distribution. The role requires hands-on experience in air/ocean freight, strong knowledge of international regulations, and the ability to coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams across time zones.

Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in logistics coordination with a focus on international air/ocean freight.
• Hands-on experience in international Air, Ocean, and OTR freight forwarding operations required.
• Proven experience managing transload warehouse operations and truckload dispatch.
• Strong understanding of international air/ocean freight regulations and customs procedures.
• Proficiency with ERP and logistics systems (SAP, TMS, WMS or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain daily tracking reports for Air Export, Ocean Import and OTR including weekend operations.
• Gather departure information for containers and air cargo at ports, terminals, and airports.
• Monitor and confirm on-time departures from U.S. Ocean terminals and major airports.
• Coordinate terminal departure schedules with terminal operators and customs brokers.
• Track ocean containers, rail intermodal units, and air shipments in real time.
• Validate Import of Documentation (IOD) and Proof of Delivery (POD) daily.
• Respond promptly to shipment exceptions requiring attention.
• Oversee Transload Warehouse capacity planning and utilization.
• Manage KPIs for transload operations (dwell time, on-time transload, damage rate).
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks with warehouse teams.
• Schedule and dispatch TL OB orders using TMS; optimize routing and load consolidation.
• Serve as primary contact for logistics partners, carriers, forwarders, brokers, and customers.
• Handle claims, documentation, and escalations via phone, email, or meetings.
• Ensure shipments comply with trade regulations and maintain audit-ready records.
