Cavalier Logistics is hiring a full-time Import Agent to manage documentation for US CBP entries and ensure high-quality service from origin to destination. This role requires handling air and ocean imports, maintaining compliance, and coordinating with overseas offices.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail, with some experience in brokerage workflows and regulatory requirements. Background check is required for employment.

• Basic knowledge of INCO terms, HTS, and government requirements.

Responsibilities

• A to Z handling of air and ocean imports.
• Provide impeccable customer service throughout origin to destination.
• Audit review of brokerage files and payments to customs.
• Maintain up-to-date customs compliance documentation.
• Process documents via ABI system and arrange invoicing for services.
• Review and respond to customs rejections and information requests.
• Adhere to domestic and international shipping regulations.
• Daily correspondence with overseas offices.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver high service levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
