The role requires integrity, attention to detail, and timely decision-making in a fast-paced environment. The Export Coordinator will handle AES filings, use Maestro for shipment data, and coordinate with carriers and customers to ensure on-time delivery and documentation completeness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of customs operations and regulations.
• Experience in export freight forwarding or logistics coordination (air export desirable).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with AES filings and export compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of air export shipments.
• Verify bookings at current rates and route shipments per procedures.
• Monitor outbound shipments from origin to destination and provide updates.
• Send pre-alerts and shipment notifications to destinations promptly.
• Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams on status and handling requirements.
• Maintain shipment data in Maestro with milestones and route legs.
• Ensure accuracy of export documentation and coordinate missing information.
• Handle AES filings in compliance with regulations.
• Build relationships with internal teams, overseas offices, agents, and service providers.
• Support continuous improvements in production and quality within timelines.
