Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a strategic, execution-focused Director, Global AI Security & CISO Initiatives, to partner with the CISO and translate security strategy into enterprise actions.

The role leads the operating rhythm of Information Security, manages strategy, planning, budgeting, and reporting, and collaborates across IT, Legal, Internal Audit, Privacy, HR, Finance, and business units to drive measurable security outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, business administration, risk management, or related field or equivalent.
• Eight+ years in cybersecurity, technology, security strategy and execution, or related field.
• Experience supporting senior executives and leading cross-functional initiatives globally.
• Understanding of security governance, strategy, and operating models.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CISO to execute strategy, roadmaps, priorities, and objectives.
• Translate priorities into measurable initiatives with milestones and outcomes.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and execution gaps across security portfolio.
• Lead high-priority initiatives crossing organizational boundaries.
• Align security priorities with business objectives and transformation agenda.
• Establish and manage the Office of the CISO operating rhythm and leadership meetings.
• Prepare executive briefings, board materials, and regulatory discussions.
• Monitor budget, vendor commitments, and resource allocation for security programs.
• Define KPIs and KRIs; track performance and program health.
• Develop concise presentations translating cybersecurity matters into business terms.
