Job summary

Newell Brands seeks a strategic Director, Global AI Security & CISO Initiatives to serve within the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer. You will partner with the CISO to translate security strategy into coordinated action across the enterprise.

The role combines long-term strategy with day-to-day operations, connecting strategy, governance, budgeting, talent, and communications. You will collaborate across IT, Legal, Internal Audit, Privacy, HR, Finance, and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• Eight+ years of cybersecurity, tech strategy, or related experience.
• Experience supporting senior executives and leading cross-functional initiatives globally.
• Strong understanding of cyber strategy, governance and operating models.
• Ability to translate complex risk info into clear business implications.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy into measurable initiatives, milestones and outcomes.
• Lead operating rhythm for the Office of the CISO, including leadership meetings and exec updates.
• Prepare executive briefings for boards, regulatory discussions, and business reviews.
• Coordinate information flow into/out of the CISO's office and track decisions.
• Monitor security budgets, resource allocation, and vendor commitments.
• Support portfolio management across security programs and investments.
• Define and monitor KPIs and KRIs; report program health.
• Develop concise presentations translating cybersecurity to business terms.
• Track progress against the security roadmap and drive corrective actions.
