Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an International Policy Applied AI role to advise governments and international institutions on frontier AI, safety, and policy implications. You will collaborate with Policy, Product, Research, and Engineering teams to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

You will lead demonstrations, onboarding, and evaluation work for partner nations, travel internationally, and help shape strategies that align public-benefit goals with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.
• Experience working with governments or international organizations.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred).

Responsibilities

• Advise senior government officials on frontier AI capabilities and safety.
• Develop demos, pilots, and evaluation suites for Claude to support public missions.
• Lead onboarding and hands-on workshops for partner institutions.
• Collaborate with Policy, Product, Research to align goals.
• Travel internationally for meetings and enablement.
• Define shared vision for safe, beneficial AI solutions.
• Lead strategy and execution of innovative AI solutions.
