Anthropic seeks a seasoned International Policy expert to join its AI safety efforts in the United States. As part of the International Policy Applied AI team, you will advise governments and AISIs, explaining frontier AI and helping apply it to public missions with reliability and safety.

You will collaborate with Policy, Product, Research, and Engineering to design demos, onboarding, and evaluation suites for Claude, and you will travel to partner institutions to build relationships while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience with governments or public sector.
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience evaluating AI safety and policy considerations.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior officials and international partners on frontier AI capabilities and safety.
• Develop demos and evaluation suites showing how Claude supports public missions.
• Lead onboarding and workshops with partner institutions on Claude integration.
• Collaborate with Policy, Product, Research, and Engineering teams.
• Travel internationally for meetings and relationship-building.
• Shape a shared vision for safe, beneficial AI solutions.
• Drive strategy and execution of innovative AI solutions.
