Job summary

Samsonite is actively pursuing a Director of AI to lead AI/ML initiatives across a multi-brand, multi-region portfolio. This role focuses on shipping AI-enabled capabilities, driving ROI, and scaling AI platforms with governance and cost discipline.

Reporting to the CIO, you will build a global AI CoE, manage vendors, and partner with regional leaders to deliver measurable business outcomes and value realization across commerce, supply chain, and operations.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of progressive technology experience, including 4+ years leading AI/ML delivery teams.
• Direct experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience shipping AI and GenAI solutions into production at scale with measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise AI roadmap and end-to-end delivery from prototype to production.
• Lead global AI delivery teams across multi-region organizations.
• Partner with IT leadership to ensure scalable MLOps, governance, and cost optimization.
• Report ROI and KPIs, tying initiatives to revenue growth and efficiency.
