Job summary

Odyssey Logistics is seeking a Sr. Director of AI to own the direction and day-to-day execution of the enterprise AI program.

You will scale an AI Academy to drive measurable business value, leading a cross-divisional network of AI leads and partnering with business unit leaders and technology teams to identify high-value use cases and governance structures. You will translate business needs into AI opportunities, oversee a disciplined pipeline, and push for production-ready workflows that

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience, including AI/ML
• Director level or above with senior management experience
• Hands-on experience architecting and scaling modern AI systems in production on cloud platforms
• Proven collaboration across business and IT functions
• Program operating discipline for AI pipeline
• Strong communication skills translating technical to business language
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or asset-heavy industry
• Experience building AI or data governance models

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-divisional network of AI leads and govern AI initiatives
• Set enterprise AI priorities and align roadmaps with business objectives
• Own the enterprise AI governance model with processes and data handling rules
• Run a disciplined use-case pipeline turning ideas into production platform wins
• Stay hands-on with emerging AI models and tools
• Identify highest-value transformation opportunities redesigning workflows around AI
• Collaborate with executives and BU presidents to prioritize initiatives and report progress
