Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Managing Director with strong leadership to expand Baker Tilly’s presence globally, especially South America, and to generate new business opportunities for the firm.

The Managing Director is responsible for multiple complex engagements, client service, staff development, and business development, while upholding high professional standards and flexibility to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a specialized field.
• 10 years of related experience; 8+ years supervisory preferred.
• CPA, CFE, or CFF certification required.
• Certifications for applicable area (ACA/FCA, ACCA/FCCA).
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills; Excel proficiency.
• Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information about subject businesses as necessary to complete assigned engagements, on site where needed.
• Leads a team in analyzing data and preparing calculations and reports.
• Provides valuable financial insight and clarity to clients during all stages of an engagement, from case theory development through to expert witness testimony.
• Impeccably prepared and effectively handles meetings and calls with clients and opposing parties.
• Maintains active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, achieve deadlines are met, and lead change efforts effectively.
• Responsible for staff mentoring and career development.
• Will assist Principals with strategic planning across relevant business lines.
• Will be directly involved in Accounts Receivable and Work in Progress management.
