Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. in California is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our fast-paced distribution and import environment.

You will handle day-to-day AP activities, vendor account management, payment processing, and maintain accurate AP records. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of AP experience, experience with overseas vendors and container invoices, proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics), strong Excel skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a distribution/import environment.
• Experience with overseas vendors, international shipments, and container-related invoices.
• ERP proficiency (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics) and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics teams for billing accuracy.
• Process payments by check, ACH, and wire transfer; maintain payment schedules.
• Assist year-end 1099 preparation and month-end close activities.
