Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies is seeking a Sales Engineer in the United States to bridge technical solutions with customer needs. You will own the end-to-end technical relationship, learn customers’ environments, and align Check Point offerings to business objectives.

You will collaborate with sales to design plans, deliver product demonstrations, and drive opportunities to closure. Expect travel and cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced cybersecurity world.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales/solutions/systems engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Solid understanding of networking and security principles and typical customer architectures.
• Ability to design and articulate an end-to-end security solution for a customer's environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Certifications highly preferred, e.g. CCNP / CISSP/ CCSA / CCSE.
• Ability to do 50% travel including international travel.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers as a trusted advisor throughout the technical relationship.
• Develop deep understanding of customer's technical environment and align with Check Point solutions.
• Drive opportunities with account planning and collaboration with sales.
• Demonstrate knowledge on cybersecurity trends and Check Point product portfolio.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs and present Check Point's technology vision to stakeholders.
• Lead technical discussions and demonstrations across executive to practitioner levels.
• Own accounts by providing thought leadership and ensuring client interests.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Specialists, Customer Success, PMs and Eng. to drive success.
• Pursue special projects in Solutions Engineering and invest in ongoing skills development.
