Job summary

Anthropic seeks a Program Manager for Accounting Operations & Strategy to connect global accounting efforts. You will own annual goal-setting, leadership cadence, and org-wide events, partnering with People, Finance Systems, and hub leads. A hands-on role blending chief of staff, program management, and culture-building across time zones.

You’ll guide execution of governance, communications, and hub programs and help scale the accounting org while maintaining one cohesive team globally.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in program management, operations, chief of staff, or strategy roles. Experience inside a finance or accounting org is a plus, but not required.
• A track record of running recurring programs end to end and getting people to follow through without formal authority.
• Good judgment about what matters and what doesn't. You can handle a lot of moving pieces without dropping them.
• Clear, direct writing. You can brief a senior leader in a few sentences.
• Comfort with confidential information and sensitive people topics.
• Experience supporting distributed or global teams.
• You're organized, but you also know when a process is getting in the way and should be simplified.

Responsibilities

• Run the annual goal setting process and the reporting that tracks progress against those goals.
• Look at how the org actually operates and fix what isn't working.
• Maintain one org-wide planning calendar with close, audit, and team milestones.
• Build and maintain org health metrics and report on them regularly.
• Run our extended leadership team program, including agendas and action items.
• Own planning and agenda for the annual offsite and quarterly all-hands.
• Write internal updates: regular team newsletter and talking points for leadership.
• Coordinate projects across the org that support employee experience programs.
• Roll out training and development programs for Accounting.
• Review survey results and build action plans; report back to the team.
• Run hub programs, visit rotations, and time-zone aware meeting norms.
