Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager for the Corporate Accounting Enterprise Program Office to drive automation initiatives across the Accounting organization. Strong project management, accounting automation, and internal controls experience are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in finance or related analytical field.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
5+ years of automation/analysis experience.
Experience delivering measurable improvements in controllership or cost savings.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to influence automation design and implementation with financial best practices.
Gather and document detailed functional accounting requirements and drive prioritization of technical deliverables.
Define a project plan and identify risks and obstacles early in the project lifecycle.
Define and execute pre-launch user acceptance testing and lead readiness assessments.
Prioritize to manage a diverse portfolio of projects, reducing manual effort and automating reconciliations.
Standardize communications, execution and documentation for scalable global processes.
