Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Global Account Manager to lead the North America relationship with a major global energy customer headquartered in London. You will partner with C-level leaders to develop strategy and deliver measurable business value across Upstream, Production & Exploration.

Based in Houston, you will work with AWS teams to architect solutions, drive multi-year account strategy, and generate new revenue while expanding the AWS portfolio.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets targeting C-level executives.
• Experience planning, managing and closing competitive sales efforts from negotiation to delivery.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication for executive audiences.
• Deep understanding of the Energy & Utilities industry landscape and trends.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build trusted advisor relationships with key influencers and decision-makers (CxOs, VPs, Board members).
• Develop and implement 3-year account strategies aligned to customer priorities to drive growth.
• Collaborate with internal AWS teams and external partners to deliver best-in-class business solutions.
• Lead negotiations and close high-stakes legal agreements and contracts.
