Job summary

Google is seeking a Global Accommodations Lead within the Global Benefits and Mobility team to drive the worldwide accommodations program. You will shape frameworks, partner with Legal and Employee Relations, and ensure compliance across regions.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborate with Accessibility, REWS, Legal and People Operations, and influence policy execution with strategic impact on employee experiences globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in HR, Benefits, or related domains, with a specialization in disability accommodations strategy, policy design, or program management.
• Experience interpreting United States disability accommodations laws and regulations (e.g., ADA, PWFA) and federal/state compliance frameworks at policy level.
• Experience leading cross-functional HR initiatives and program rollouts (e.g., system integrations, vendor agreements, or service delivery transformations).

Responsibilities

• Architect global accommodation frameworks and translate complex legal statutes into actionable internal policies.
• Ensure policies and programs meet global regulatory requirements (e.g., ADA, Equality Act) to maintain compliance.
• Act as escalation point for highly sensitive accommodation requests, partnering with Legal and Employee Relations to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate across IT, Facilities, Benefits, and Legal to ensure seamless employee experiences.
• Drive improvements like standardizing medical review processes and developing training.
