Portland Glass is seeking a Store Manager in Methuen to lead daily operations, ensure safety, and oversee all glass installation activities at the retail location.

You will manage customer relations, analyze monthly financials, coach staff, and purchase inventory to meet budget while delivering outstanding service and results.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in business management required; glass experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related computer programs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to understand and analyze budgets, financial statements, inventory, and retail procedures/reports.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test per applicable state laws.
• Education: HS diploma/GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all employees and team members adhere to safety standards and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Oversee that procedures ensure safe installations meeting architectural specs for glass.
• Manage the retail store to exceed customer expectations and resolve escalations quickly.
• Read and analyze monthly financial statements and make improvements as needed.
• Proactively coach and develop team members and identify recognition opportunities.
• Purchase inventory to service customers while staying within budget.

As a Manager on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will include:

• Ensuring all employees and team members strictly adhere to Portland Glass safety standards and conducting regular safety meetings/ regularly inspecting PPE
• Overseeing that correct procedures are used to ensure safe installations, meeting the designated architectural specifications for glass installation
• Managing the retail store to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and resolving customer escalations in a professional and timely manner
• Reading, understanding and analyzing monthly financial statements and making improvements as needed
• Proactively coaching and developing team members to ensure success in their respective roles and identifying opportunities for recognition and development
• Purchasing inventory and products to sufficiently service customers to ensure efficiency while keeping in line with the budget

• Prior experience in business management required, prior glass experience/related skilled trades experience preferred!
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related computer programs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to understand and analyze budget, financial statements, inventory, and related retail business procedures/reports
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test per applicable state laws
• Education: High school diploma/GED is required, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift minimum of 75 pounds

Competitive pay: $75,000 - $85,000 based on experience!
