As a Shower Door Specialist on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will include:

• Placing orders and following up on quotes in a timely manner
• Demonstrating a high degree of skill in communicating and selling glass products
• Coordinating with vendors to procure materials and issue purchase orders
• Guiding customers through service options by providing professional, detailed recommendations on styles, materials, and installation options
• Coordinating with installation teams and office staff to ensure smooth service delivery
• Identifying and communicating any necessary changes to project specs, ensuring everything stays on track

Required qualifications

• Experience: 2-3 years prior glass experience highly preferred. 2-3 years of previous sales experience required. All new hires will be trained.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Skills: Knowledge in residential, vinyl windows, showers and first floor commercial glass; excellent verbal/written communication skills; strong attention to detail; ability to work well with technology such as office phones and computers; follows company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required personal protection equipment as needed; ability to pass a background check and drug test, per applicable state laws.
