Job summary

Portland Glass is seeking a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative in Portland, ME. In this role, you will provide outstanding service in person and by phone, follow up on estimates, and manage administrative tasks such as scheduling installations, processing orders, and coordinating with insurance companies.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of customer service experience in an office/shop setting, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in customer service within an office/shop setting is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office/computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test per applicable state laws.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Making outside calls to generate leads/follow up on lead inquiries.
• Following up on job estimates and quotes with customers.
• Admin duties such as: Scheduling glass installations, placing orders, receiving product, confirming appointments, collecting payments, invoicing, communicating with insurance companies, etc.
