Job summary

Gallo Glass Company in Modesto, California is seeking an Engineering Intern to work with seasoned engineers in a dynamic production environment. You will gain hands-on experience supporting manufacturing processes, data analysis, and project execution that improves performance and efficiency.

The role focuses on Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, with exposure to equipment startups, commissioning, and process design.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Eligible for July–December 2027 internship duration.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist with projects in Hot End Forming, Cold End Inspection, Furnace/Batch, or Warehouse operations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement, analyze data, and support implementation of solutions.
• Help develop standardized work processes and contribute to Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
