Job summary

E. & J. Gallo Winery in Modesto, CA is seeking motivated engineering interns for a 6-month placement in our Internship Program.

You will work with engineers across the company to manage and lead projects from concept to final implementation. Roles include Reliability & Maintenance Engineering and Supply Chain Engineering, with cross-functional collaboration to deliver customer requirements and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at a college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Management or have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Management.
• Available for the 6-month duration and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Willing to travel up to 5% of the time and to work on-site without telecommuting.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan and execute industrial glass, infrastructure, electrical utilities, and commercial building projects from concept to final implementation.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure business needs are met and deliver project outcomes.
• Create preventative maintenance strategies and perform risk analysis for bottling, spirits, and harvest site equipment.
• Manage projects from concept to startup and collaborate with partners to meet customer requirements.
• Gather and analyze data to improve product flow from bottling to the customer with continuous improvement.
• Present findings to other functions and drive improvement ideas through to implementation.
