American Savings Bank Hawaii in Honolulu seeks a detail‑oriented General Ledger Reconciliation Specialist to ensure daily reconciliation of high priority GL accounts and internal demand deposit accounts, supporting accurate financial reporting.

The role requires strong Excel skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, and clear communication with branches and departments. Prior GL reconciliation or bank operations experience is preferred.

Formación

• Minimum two years of General ledger reconciliation experience or bank operations experience.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Performs general ledger reconciliations and prepares reports on high priority GL and internal demand deposit accounts daily.
• Identifies reconciling items and escalates issues to minimize bank risk.
• Prepares and posts adjusting general ledger entries as needed.
• Communicates with branches/departments to resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
• Monitors processes and contributes improvement ideas for GL reconciliation.
• Participates in special projects and upgrades related to third-party service providers.
