Job summary

H2O America is seeking an Accounting Manager - GL Team to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial deliverables across multiple jurisdictions. This role leads the General Ledger team, oversees month-end close, and acts as the primary liaison during audits with internal departments and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, advanced accounting expertise, and strategic thinking to drive internal controls, forecasting, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA license is a plus.
• Experience leading technical or cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in GAAP and bookkeeping best practices.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Experience leading audit processes and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities
