Job summary

Dent Wizard seeks an Accounting Manager – General Ledger to lead monthly closes, ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, and maintain strong internal controls across the multi-unit business.

You will supervise the general ledger team, prepare reconciliations, and coordinate with external auditors. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Accounting, 5+ years’ supervisory experience, and ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, JDE, NetSuite).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting required; advanced degree or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years relevant accounting experience; prior supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, and internal controls required.
• Experience with a major ERP system (Oracle, JDE, SAP); NetSuite a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

• Support a multi-unit business through general accounting and internal control functions and results reporting and analysis.
• Manage the monthly financial close process to ensure timely, accurate financial statements in line with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
• Supervise the General Ledger team; review and approve General Ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
