Job summary

Jeppesen ForeFlight seeks an experienced GL Accounting Manager to own the general ledger and close processes for a multi-entity, multicurrency SaaS environment. You will lead a team, partner with FP&A, Revenue Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate financial reporting under US GAAP while supporting SOX controls.

The role is hybrid in Englewood, CO, requiring strong leadership, process improvements, and a track record of improving close cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 7+ years of accounting experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and foreign currency transactions.
• SOX controls experience and working with external auditors.
• Proficiency with a major ERP and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and deadline management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with calendar ownership.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and variances analyses.
• Maintain chart of accounts and ERP configuration in partnership with Finance Systems.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and multi-currency reporting.
• Drive SOX compliance, audit readiness, and internal controls.
