Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP in Seattle seeks an Accounting Manager to lead the General Ledger, partner and affiliate accounting, treasury, and international accounting across the US. The role blends hands-on accounting with team leadership to deliver accurate monthly and annual closes, financial reporting, and compliance.

You will manage the GL team, coordinate audits and tax deliverables, optimize processes, and serve as a backup to the Regional Head of Finance – US.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with accountability for deadlines.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP, tax-basis accounting, and financial reporting.
• Advanced financial analysis, problem solving, and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the General Ledger team and oversee monthly/annual close.
• Manage partner/affiliate accounting, treasury operations, and cash management.
• Coordinate audits, tax compliance, and external reporting with auditors and tax advisors.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls; support senior leadership.
