Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a General Ledger Accountant in Oakton, VA for a hybrid role (2x in office weekly). The position is full-time with compensation of $85–$100K depending on experience.

The role supports a nonprofit/property management portfolio, with HUD-related reporting and compliance responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ general ledger or full-cycle accounting experience, a BS in Accounting/Finance, and familiarity with HUD programs and ERP/property accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of general ledger or full-cycle accounting experience.
• Experience with property accounting, affordable housing, or HUD programs.
• Experience with a large ERP or property accounting system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting for multiple properties, programs, or entities.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Complete monthly reconciliations and support month-end close.
• Review property-level revenue and expenses for accuracy.
• Assist with HUD reporting, compliance, and audits.
