Job summary

ServiceSource seeks a detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting for HUD housing entities, post journal entries, run reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closes.

You will collaborate with accounting leadership, ensure GAAP compliance, assist with audits, and contribute to process improvements. A BA/BS in accounting, 3–5 years' GL experience, and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive general ledger or financial accounting experience.
• Proficient in US GAAP and FASB.
• ERP systems: Workday, Oracle, NetSuite preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Nonprofit or government-contract accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle for HUD entities and 200 housing units.
• Prepare month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Coordinate external audits and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Assist with Form 990 schedules with accounting leadership.
• Support internal controls and process improvements.
