Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a General Ledger Accountant in Oakton, VA, a hybrid role with in-office presence 2 days a week. The ideal candidate will manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties, ensure adherence to U.S.

GAAP, and support HUD-related reporting and audits. Responsibilities include journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and preparation of financial statements and reports for management and program compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of general ledger or full-cycle accounting experience.
• Property accounting, affordable housing, or HUD program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting for multiple properties and programs.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and assist with close processes.
• Review revenue and expenses for proper classification and reporting.
