Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
  • Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Maintain and analyze general ledger activity
  • Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting
  • Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances
  • Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to requests
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and internal controls
  • Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, Finance, and operational teams
  • Assist with process improvements and accounting system enhancements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis
  • Participate in special projects as assigned
