Job summary

The Department of Technology, Management, and Budget (DTMB) is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). You will analyze complex business processes, develop detailed flow diagrams, gather and validate requirements, and help prepare user acceptance testing and documentation.

The position is located in Lansing, MI with a hybrid schedule requiring two days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the specified fields.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a business analyst supporting MDOT within DTMB Agency Services.
• Analyze complex business processes and develop detailed business process flows.
• Gather and manage business requirements, facilitate requirements sessions, trace and validate requirements.
• Assist in system user acceptance testing and create user documentation.
• Participate in pre- and post-system implementation support.

Education

Bachelor's degree in one of: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management, or mathematics
