Job summary

HNTB is seeking an intermediate GIS Data Support professional to join our Nashville team. The role involves GIS project lifecycle from requirements to implementation, direct client interactions, and promoting GIS technology across design offices.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of GIS software experience, with strong ArcGIS proficiency and data visualization skills using Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Planning or related field with 3 years' experience using ESRI, Intergraph, or Bentley software.
• In lieu of degree, 7 years of relevant GIS experience.

Responsibilities

• Interacts directly with clients, both internal and external, providing training and process knowledge to promote GIS.
• Provides GIS technical support and promotes GIS technology to design offices.
• Provides market research and business development consulting as needed.
• Develops and completes a GIS project lifecycle from requirements through implementation.
• Develops or maintains GIS applications using a mix of GIS software and Windows development tools.
