The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning or related field, familiarity with GIS and MS Office, and the ability to summarize research for senior staff. Preferred candidates may hold a Master’s in Urban Planning and prior internship experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and reviews data for projects and further analysis.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team with maps, exhibits, presentations, and reporting.
• Develops conceptual planning alternatives for urban and transportation projects.
• Prepares plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation projects.
• Assists in stakeholder and public participation processes.
• Maintains records and files related to projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
