Job summary

The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking a collaborative and service-oriented Information Technology GIS Analyst I/II to support and strengthen the City’s enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS) environment.

This role partners with City departments to develop sustainable GIS solutions, improve access to reliable data, integrate GIS with City business systems, and modernize business processes for enterprise data management, analytics, automation, field operations, and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong GIS development, data management, and project-management skills.
• Experience with Esri ArcGIS Suite and data integration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, analyze, and present GIS data and services.
• Develop sustainable GIS solutions and automated workflows.
• Coordinate projects and data needs with City departments and partners.
