Job summary
The City of Tacoma is seeking a Senior GIS Analyst to join its GIS teams and drive administration, design, and implementation of ArcGIS Enterprise environments. The role focuses on architecture, data management, and application development to deliver enterprise GIS solutions across multiple City departments.
Ideal candidates will have extensive ArcGIS experience, data management skills, and the ability to lead complex GIS projects while collaborating with IT, operations, and public works teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years IT experience.
- Experience architecting and maintaining ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, design, architecture, configuration, and implementation of ArcGIS Enterprise deployments and related GIS solutions.
- Perform daily administration of Enterprise Geodatabases and GIS applications.
- Develop procedures for data design, processing, quality control, automation, metadata, and ETLs.
- Build prototype GIS applications and support customer information needs with diverse development tools.
