Job summary
The Sanborn Map Company in the United States is seeking a GIS Analyst I to deliver high-quality geospatial data products. You will develop, validate, and maintain spatial and tabular datasets, perform analyses, and support project teams and clients throughout the lifecycle.
Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Server is required, plus experience with QGIS and PostGIS. Strong communication, data management skills, and the ability to translate requirements into reliable GIS
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
- 0-2+ years in GIS data development, analysis, and visualization.
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and maintain high-quality spatial and tabular datasets.
- Perform geospatial analyses and QA/QC throughout project lifecycles.
- Create web maps, reports, and presentations for clients.
- Translate customer requirements into reliable GIS workflows.
- Document processing workflows and methodologies.
