Job summary

Bow Wave LLC is seeking a GIS Specialist - Engineer to perform mapping, graphics, and tabular data processing. The role supports database design, automation, and data processing macros, ensuring geodatabases are current and outputs meet user criteria.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of GIS production experience with ESRI tools, coursework in cartography or graphic design, and hands-on ArcGIS Online work. Join a team supporting Reclamation staff.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Geography, Natural Resources Management, Earth Sciences, Engineering, or Computer Sciences.
• 3–5 years GIS production work using ESRI software.
• Coursework in cartography and/or graphic design.
• Successful completion of ESRI training courses within the past two years (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, Python basics).

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates geodatabases.
• Reviews data output for accuracy and adherence to end user criteria.
• Assists with ArcGIS Online, maintains logs, records and files.
• Provides GIS assistance to Reclamation staff.
