Job summary

Girls Inc. of Greater Pittsburgh is hiring a Program Facilitator to deliver high-quality, research-based programming that empowers girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

This hybrid, part-time role supports direct services and engages communities to strengthen leadership and academic success. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will lead sessions, build supportive relationships with participants, and implement curricula addressing leadership, STEM, health, and social-emotional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience working with youth in educational or nonprofit settings.
• Passion for youth development and gender equity.
• Strong facilitation and classroom management skills.
• Experience with diverse populations and trauma-informed approaches.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Some evening and weekend programming may be needed.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging, interactive sessions for participants in alignment with the Girls Inc. mission.
• Build strong relationships with girls, fostering a safe and supportive space for learning.
• Implement structured curricula addressing leadership, STEM, health and wellness, and SEL.
• Adapt lessons to meet diverse learners and ensure cultural responsiveness.
• Maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment prioritizing gender equity and empowerment.
• Assist in developing school programming and collaborating with partners to expand reach.
• Support data collection, attendance, and reporting for impact evaluation.
