Programming is designed to help girls address and overcome barriers related to poverty, prejudice, and inequality. The Girls Inc. Experience combines trained staff and volunteers, girls-only environments that are physically and emotionally safe, and research-based programs tailored to local community needs. Since 2004, the affiliate has served girls across DC—particularly in Wards 1, 5, 7, and 8—and continues to refine its strategic direction in partnership with local stakeholders.
The Part-Time Program Facilitator will support the planning and delivery of Girls Inc. programming for participants in the Washington, DC area. This hybrid role involves facilitating in-person sessions at designated program sites while also completing preparation, documentation, and communication tasks remotely. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading group activities, implementing curriculum aligned with Girls Inc. values, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and building positive relationships with youth. The Program Facilitator will track attendance and outcomes, coordinate with staff and volunteers, and provide regular feedback on program effectiveness. This is a part-time position that requires flexibility to work some evenings or weekends based on program schedules.
