Job summary

Gloucester County Public Schools is seeking a staff member to supplement the basketball program for the season. The role involves assisting in teaching basketball skills and ensuring required certifications and onboarding are completed prior to starting.

Seasonal supplement of $2,200 is paid in March; onboarding includes background checks and training compliance. CPR/First Aid certification and concussion training are required or must be obtained, with eligibility documentation for U.S.

Qualifications

• Must hold or obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must attend concussion training.
• Background checks including Virginia State Police/FBI and Virginia Department of Social Services.
• TB test within last 12 months.
• Satisfactory onboarding completion before first day of employment.

• Knowledge of, experience in, and ability to assist in teaching the skills of Basketball
• Cover and resume optional, but preferred, and highly recommended
• Must hold or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
• Must attend concussion training
• Satisfactory completion of all onboarding requirements prior to first day of employment, including, but not limited to:
• Documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.
• Virginia State Police/FBI criminal history background check
• Virginia Department of Social Services background check
• Tuberculosis test/screening completed within the last 12 months
• "Child Abuse and Neglect" training certificate
