Job summary

Splendora Independent School District seeks a 26/27- GT Teacher for the Teaching & Learning Department. The role focuses on delivering advanced learning experiences to identified GT students and coordinating district-wide services.

The teacher will develop pull-out/push-in services, collaborate with campus leaders, maintain GT documentation, and engage families through updates and meetings across campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academics.
• 30 GT hrs Foundational Certification or complete hours during first semester of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a pull out schedule to meet with GT students across campuses.
• Assist with regular meetings with principals and administrators to approve schedules and updates.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming classroom environment on each campus.
• Coordinate field trips, lunches, and permission slips as needed.
• Attend GT-related conferences and planning sessions.
• Plan project-based learning aligned to grade level standards.
